Well, this little mounting device for my LP is not something you can find at any music store...because it was created based on my ideal situation (dream) for a new addition (it will be introduced in detail some other time).
In order to accomplish your great(?) idea, you should be very creative and believe you can truly do it.
Gabriel suggested me to get the guitar effect pedal which would work beautifully for keys...my first (hopefully the LAST) effect pedal! As you know, I already have so many pedals & pedal tools on my drum-ground world --- BD pedal, HH pedal, Volume & Tone latch pedals & Tuner for LP. I only have 2 legs to deal with all these. You know, there will be NO WAY (no room, actually) to add anymore foot work down there.
So, this nice attachment came into my imaginative world at first. In my mind, I would be able to set the pedal on it and edit parameters/tones like LP buttons/nobs with my left hand while playing drums w/my right hand as I normally do. Unfortunately, I could not find anything like that from any musical hardware department (I thought there would be similar things from some percussion or recording accessaries).
I decided to go to my favorite music store, Gelb Music in Redwood City, CA where I was hoping to find some creative solutions...and YES, it happened. Thanks million to Al Schneider who helped me trying different tools/hardwares/accessaries to finally create the new mounting device! This was actually assembled with 2 different drum/percussion tools with 2 additional accessaries. During the process, I got nice helps/suggestions/opinions from other Gelb guys as well. I totally recommend this nice store for the musicians who really deserve to be treated "right"...in my case, I felt it was more than just right :)
I am sure I will write more when the pedal arrives....yaaay!
